Spray the change with Caig DeOxit. It’s a contact cleaner and lubricant. I apply it to any MOVING electrical change… flip sign, lights, and so on. Common fast dry electrical contact cleaner, like CRC, is just too harsh for switches. Most definitely there’s your concern. Behind the sprint, there are two relays for the windshield, one for UP, the opposite for DOWN.
